A great writing bureau/chest by E Gomme for G-Plan. Perfect home-office must-have.

This one comes from the G Plan 'Brandon' range. This line was designed by VB Wilkins who went on to design some of G Plan's most iconic and collectible pieces

We have done extensive restorations and refinishing work on this piece. We have opted to give it a two-tone look to accentuate the design lines on this iconic piece. This also provides versatility in terms of color schemes and tones.

The top drawer pulls open to reveal a writing/working area with multiple storage compartments. It has a good-sized top surface area for other office products, decor items, or if you are using it as a dresser, great for all beauty products.  Additional two deep drawers for additional storage.

In great refurbished condition.

As with mostly all Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood & a high-quality wood veneer. Quality old veneer was long-lasting and for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the workmanship, condition and thickness of the veneer itself.
