A unique, smaller Italian-style mid-century foldable coffee or side table from the Gio Ponti era. A stylish coffee table with a delicate yet good design. The wood seems to be fabulous a Walnut burl.
The table has a distinctive spider leg-shaped wooden base, a smoked glass top, collapsible functionality with hinges, and brass-capped feet. The collapsible feature adds practicality to the table, or it could be modified (at a later stage) in a manner not to enable collapse (we have kept it original). The brass-capped feet contribute to the overall aesthetic.
The wooden base is fully restored, the brass and glass were cleaned and the table is in good condition. Note the dimensions, it is not large.
46cm D (leg to leg) X 41 H - Glass diameter x 61cm
