A quintessential Mid-Century modular and Kiaat & steel wall unit. The system is dis-mountable and can be composed to your own taste.
The wood has been restored and sealed and the wall unit is in a great vintage condition and minor marks consistent with age. The unit consists of 3 different size cabinets. Depth and length differs on each cabinet.
One double door drinks/storage cabinet, one double door storage cabinet as well as a two drawer unit. Fairly small dark mark that could not be removed on top of one of the cabinets.
Note: The unit self-supports, however, because there's some movement, we recommend fastening the cabinets with screws to the steel legs once you have done your final configuration of the units and this will require drilling holes. If unsure of any details or configuration, please feel free to view this piece in store prior to purchasing.
The other similar wall unit in some pictures is sold separately here
As with mostly all Mid-Century pieces it is a good combination of solid wood & a high quality wood veneer. Quality old veneer was long-lasting and for this reason it can be retouched or sanded and refinished. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on workmanship, condition and thickness of the veneer itself.
