A stunning Vintage haberdashery cabinet. The cabinet includes 12 drawers and two larger open storage compartments to ensure maximum display and use.
A large and heavy piece that will last another lifetime. The wood has been completely restored and sealed to reveal the beautiful woodgrain. Great to use as a kitchen island shop display, in the bedroom as a chest or as a server and display of dinnerware collections.
After meticulously stripping, sanding, and bleaching several drawers to better match the overall tone, we carefully resealed the exposed wooden sections of the cabinet in a clear sealer, stained & sealed the drawer side panels and outer cabinet in black and coated the vintage handles in a matching shade.
Despite age-related scratches on the top glass, the overall condition remains very good. The glass sits on top of the aluminum frame (and not inside the frame), suggesting that the original glass has been replaced over the years.
