It features a drop-fronted, mirrored, drinks serving cabinet, shelved storage behind two symmetrical cabinet doors and two glass-fronted doors on either side of the cabinet with glass shelves inside.

The wood has been stripped of its old varnish and stain, sanded back to the bare wood and resealed. The old handles were replaced with new matt, brushed brass-finished handles echoing the shape of this art deco cabinet.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The quality, old veneer was long-lasting and for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the workmanship, condition, and thickness of the veneer itself.
