A gorgeous Imbuia surfboard-style coffee table. Typically these coffee tables were manufactured by Airflex furniture. Notice the stunning wood grain and the design lines of the leg base. Good to complete a lounge suite with its straight, elegant, and simplistic lines. Excellent craftsmanship is displayed throughout this piece.
The wood has been fully restored and is in great restored condition.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness the quality of the old veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
