The Steelcase i2i Chair is a design-forward collaborative seating solution created for informal meeting spaces and creative environments. With its distinct sculptural form and innovative functionality, the i2i promotes movement and engagement - ideal for brainstorming, team discussions, and modern workspaces. The chair’s back and seat swivel independently and has a swivel-return, back into position!
This example, manufactured in 2015 at Steelcase’s Sarrebourg facility in France, remains in “as new” vintage condition, with almost no notable wear to the vibrant orange upholstery, molded shell, with a few marks on the polished aluminum swivel base. There are two chairs available, though they are sold separately.
Design & Features: The chair swivels a full 360°, encouraging fluid movement and natural collaboration. Its dual-surface backrest allows users to shift posture without the need for manual adjustments, while the generous cushioning and breathable mesh backing balance ergonomic support with comfort. The open-back design with slotted white shell and vibrant upholstery creates an iconic silhouette that is striking both from the front and rear view.
