A fabulous piece of authentic retro design, combining bold geometric steelwork with the natural warmth of wood. The intricate arrangement of intersecting steel lines creates an almost sculptural backdrop, giving this piece a wonderful sense of movement and character.
The bench features solid Kiaat wood slats, with one Meranti slat positioned at the back, complemented by two smaller plant shelves crafted from stained Pine. The contrast between the rich wood tones and black steel frame makes this a particularly appealing and versatile design.
More than just a bench, this piece offers endless possibilities. Use it as a decorative room divider between indoor or outdoor living areas, additional seating on a covered patio, or a feature in the garden. Allow climbing plants and trailing greenery to gradually weave through the geometric steelwork, transforming it into a living screen that becomes even more interesting over time.
A wonderful marriage of art, furniture and greenery, with all the charm and individuality of genuine retro design.
Condition:
The steel framework has been painted in black, not powder coated, while the wood has been treated and sealed with an outdoor weather resistant sealer. Although suitable for outdoor use, a sheltered position is recommended to preserve its finish, alternatively maintain periodically if placed fully outdoors.
