An elegant set of six, solid Mahogany ladderback dining chairs. Note the interesting twist in the design of the backrests.
These chairs were made by Frystark during the 1960s. Frystark was one of South Africa’s leading furniture manufacturers of the 1960s. Their work remains highly sought after for its craftsmanship and timeless mid-century style.
Each chair has been carefully restored, with the wood stripped back to its bare wood, sanded, and refinished to highlight its natural beauty. The seats have been newly upholstered in a dark Navy blue, highly textured fabric, adding a modern touch while maintaining the classic feel.
The set is in very good restored condition, with minimal signs of age and use, consistent with its vintage character.
