A set of 4 Elm Mid-Century ladderback dining chairs by the British manufacturer Scandart. Operational post the second world war until the late 60s and based in High Wycombe, like many of their fellow upmarket furniture companies like Ercol and Parker Knoll, the craftmanship was some of the finest. Evident in this unique design.
The lower, slanted backrests ensure ultimate comfort. This design will enhance most styles and interiors and can be paired with modern or antique chairs if more seating is required. New fabric was added in a vibrant retro-style fabric.
The wood has been fully restored, sealed, and re-upholstered. The items are in excellent vintage condition.
