A gorgeous 'Torrente' Mid-Century, cubist style sideboard in a Walnut finish with black accents. Two sliding doors and three wide drawers provide sufficient storage space with an additional shelf at the bottom perfect for books, ornaments, equipment, etc.
Note the beautifully framed base. This sideboard will look great in most spaces and can also be used as a media unit. Classic, timeless, and true to the period.
The wood has been restored and sealed and the drawers have been painted in black to modernize the piece. Few signs of it's vintage condition visible, but in overall great condition.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The quality, old veneer was long-lasting and for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the workmanship, condition and thickness of the veneer itself.
