A versatile Retro cabinet in Sapele with three drawers at the top and sliding doors revealing shelved cabinet space at the bottom. The top drawers provide easy access storage space. The bottom section has two sliding doors that reveal three shelving spaces that are great to use as a bookshelves, glasses or to place collector's items. Due to the narrow built of this cabinet it would be great in a hallway, lounge or dining room.
Stunning detailed accents on either side, great handles, typical of the period with tapered legs.
The wood has been restored and sealed and it is in overall great restored condition with only a mark here and there visible consistent with its vintage age, but fully repaired and restored.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness the quality of the old veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
