A Mid-Century burgundy leather & chromed steel easy chair in the style of Jørgen Lund and Ole Larsen for Bo-Ex, of BO 911 - Denmark, 1960s. Bar a few fasteners and the leather over the curve of the armrest, this chair is as close as it gets, should it be a replica. Unfortunately, unmarked or label lost over the years, so we have to assume the latter.
The sculptural steel shape and the base of this easy chair give it the characteristic of an open character with rounded armrests. The lived-in burgundy leather upholstery is in overall fair to good condition and shows a patina. The back and seat cushion is made of one piece, similar to the style of Milo Baughman or Preben Fabricius and Kastholm.
Please note that the leather & chrome (in some places only) shows signs of age and use is consistent with its vintage age and wear. Still a fabulously great and very comfortable occasional chair with loads of character. At a much later stage (dependent on use) the webbing could be tightened and the leather changed, but at this stage, the aged look is just fine. Chrome plating missing in parts only on chair, but not very visible.
