An elegant Retro dressing table. The dresser features storage space behind a slidable mirror with three drawers with solid wooden handles. The contrasting wood tones make for an interesting and unique piece. The outer is in an oak finish and the drawer fronts in a sapele with the solid wood oak handles.

The wood has been fully restored and new glass shelves have been cut and the dresser is in good condition. The mirror has age-related wear (as per photos), but we found that it was manufactured and made in 1956 and just could not let go of the history on this piece dating back 67 years.

It does not come with a stool, but a low seat or ottoman will work perfectly.

Overall: 122cm W X 48cm D X 143cm H

Mirror: 64,5cm W X 0,5cm D X 72cm H

Between dresser legs: 114 cm W

Floor to start of dresser support: 43

Cabinet: 56,5cm W X 17,5cm D X 74cm H

Note/Disclaimer:

Our images form part of the item/s description. Although all effort is made to refurbish our furniture to represent its original state best, it must be noted that most of the items we source date between the 1950s to the late 1970s. For this reason and although restored, signs of their vintage condition & age might still be visible. We will normally point out any visible/notable concerns. Take note of all photos or view the item in-store before purchasing.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness the quality of the old veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
