Designed by Italian duo Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci for Pedrali, the Pasha collection offers a contemporary take on the grand, elegant forms of traditional period furniture.
The designers combine the sweeping curves and generous proportions of classic French seating with modern materials and injection moulding technology, creating furniture that feels both decorative and distinctly contemporary. The Pasha 660 is an injection-moulded polycarbonate design.
The Pasha 660 armchair has a high, sculptural backrest, sweeping arms and gently curved legs, all formed as a seamless polycarbonate structure. Its deep glossy black finish accentuates the fluid silhouette and moulded detailing, while a separate, newly made, black velvet seat cushion adds a bit of comfort while keeping the look tonal and understated.
The accompanying Pasha 661 table carries the same distinctive design language, with a softly shaped square top, rounded moulded edges and curved legs. Together, the chair and table make a particularly strong pairing, with the table working equally well as a side table or occasional table.
The Pasha collection belongs to the modern era of Italian moulded furniture production and reflects Pedrali's long-standing focus on combining industrial technology with Italian design.
Pedrali was established in 1963 by Mario Pedrali in Palazzolo sull'Oglio, Italy, and has since developed into an internationally recognised manufacturer of contemporary furniture for residential and contract interiors. Dondoli and Pocci founded their studio in 1983 and have collaborated extensively with Pedrali on many of the company's best-known designs.
Condition:
In good pre-owned condition, with light evidence of usage and minor surface wear consistent with use. The armchair has been fitted with a newly made seat cushion. The original Pedrali manufacturer's marking remains intact.
