A pair of Danish-style bedside pedestals. The mid-century style of clean lines, sleek design, and an emphasis on functionality, make these pedestals both stylish and practical for a modern bedroom setting. Perfect his/hers bedside cabinets.
Each pedestal is separate but designed to complement each other aesthetically and functionally.
One pedestal has a shelved cabinet space. This kind of storage is useful for keeping larger items organized and out of sight, like candles or books. The second pedestal has four drawers which are ideal for storing smaller personal items.
The Teak wood has been restored and sealed and this item is in excellent restored condition. These are not local and seems that they could be of Danish origin, but unfortunately, the maker's mark is not intact.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness the quality of the old veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
