A classic, yet unusually good find in this vintage “park bench” with plenty of nostalgic charm, featuring a semi curved design, traditional slatted timber seat and backrest set on a slender black steel frame.
The gently curved profile and timber armrests give it that familiar vintage park and garden bench character.
A particularly handy detail is the built in steel cupholders, positioned alongside the armrests and perfect for keeping a morning coffee, sundowner or cold drink within easy reach.
A characterful and practical piece for a patio, veranda, garden or covered outdoor area.
Condition:
The bench has been fully restored, with the timber stripped, sanded and resealed with a durable outdoor sealant to revive its rich natural tones and grain while offering added protection from the elements.
The steel framework has also been refreshed, treated and painted in a rust resistant black finish, creating a crisp contrast against the warm timber. Some minor surface unevenness remains in areas where rust was previously present, despite preparation and sanding prior to coating, but this does not detract from the overall finish.
Should the bench be fully exposed to the outdoor elements, some maintenance may be required over time, as is typical with wood and steel outdoor furniture.
