A piece of extraordinary qualities. “The Pasal” Chair by Professor Dittert for Stoll, Giroflex. A late 1960's rolling office chair by the firm Giroflex. It features a strong bent Plywood shell structure, new high-quality fabric, cast metal & chromed base with the original fittings intact throughout the chair. The chair is swivel and height adjustable. There are two additional settings, however unable to verify if they are for inclination or just stability. Note the hex screw bolts are marked too as well as the wheels meaning only quality parts were used in the manufacturing process.
The wood has been refurbished and the chair is in great vintage restored condition. Minor signs of its vintage condition are visible in line with age and use. What was interesting to find and probably because of manufacturing country is that the original molded foam inner lining is marked Anglo Dutch.
