This Norman Parkinson framed print of the iconic photo poster, titled "New York New York" depicting 1959, is a truly special and unique addition to any collection.
The print features an iconic black and white photo of a carefree couple running on The Brooklyn Bridge, with the stunning New York City skyline as their backdrop. This image is one of Parkinson's most famous and celebrated photographs.
Norman Parkinson, a renowned English portrait and fashion photographer (1913-1990), had a remarkable career working for esteemed publications such as Harpers Bazaar and Vogue from the 1930s to the 1960s. He captured iconic portraits of various personalities, including The Beatles, and in 1980, he became the official photographer of the Royal Family, succeeding Cecil Beaton. Parkinson remained a prominent figure in British portrait and fashion photography throughout his life.
The frame is still in good condition and so is the print, the glass covering the print has a very minor nick right at the bottom - refer the photo.
