A deeper, large open storage top that is ideal for displaying decorative accents or frequently used items within easy reach. And for those items best kept out of sight, the bottom wooden drawers provide discreet concealment or perfect for larger and bulkier items.
We have fully restored the unit as it was previously painted, we have added wooden beading to areas that needed it to best match what was already built-in, added new oak wood veneer strips to front facing section and we have added low, solid wood vintage legs to lift the unit slightly and prevent it from merely flat on floor level. Open space cleaned and kept in off-white painted surface.
This unit is in very good overall, restored condition with a few sighs of age and use here & there.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness. The quality of the veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
