Three options, available separately
A trio of classic Moka Express pots, each with its own quiet character, is offered individually.
An enduring icon of Italian design, the Moka pot was introduced by Alfonso Bialetti in 1933, transforming everyday coffee rituals with a simple yet ingenious system. Using gentle steam pressure, it draws boiling water through ground coffee to produce a rich, full-bodied brew, closer to espresso in spirit than method, and unmistakably aromatic.
The three moka pots:
- a larger 4-6 espresso cup pot, a more architectural piece with a bold, sculptural presence - no provinance.
- a well-loved small 2-espresso cup pot in classic aluminium, with a soft patina - made in Italy.
- a striking, petite 1-espresso cup pot in red enamel that adds a playful note - made in Italy.
Each remains true to the timeless octagonal form that made the design instantly recognisable across generations. Whether for daily use or display, each pot stands comfortably on its own, a small piece of design history that continues to earn its place in the modern kitchen.
Condition:
These pieces are in good working condition, with slight signs of wear consistent with age and use, adding to their authentic vintage appeal. Only handwashing is recommended.
Note: The large pot has some change to its aluminium exterior due to being washed in a dishwasher.
Dimensions:
Large pot: 12cm Diameter X 28cm H
Small pot: 8.5cm Diameter X 17cm H
Petite pot: 7cm Diameter X 14cm H

Note/Disclaimer:
Our images form part of the item description. While we make every effort to restore our furniture to its original state, most pieces date from the 1950s to the late 1970s. As a result, and despite restoration, signs of their vintage nature and previous life may still be visible. Light traces of restoration may remain visible, consistent with authentic vintage furniture. In some cases, minor adjustments may also have been made during the restoration process to ensure the piece remains functional and usable. We will point out any notable aspects where possible. We encourage in-store viewing or careful review of photographs before purchase.
Items are wrapped and prepared for transport by us (not the courier) to ensure safe handling. Once items leave our premises, they are no longer insured. We recommend arranging goods-in-transit insurance through your own short-term insurer.
Due to the fragility of glass, we do not recommend shipping such items outside Gauteng. Please refer to our Shipping Policy for more information: https://retrend.co.za/policies/shipping-policy
