Though unmarked, the craftsmanship and detailing are very much in the manner of Frystark, one of South Africa’s finest Mid-Century manufacturers. While freestanding, the piece is designed to be placed against a wall rather than used as a room divider, as the reverse side is not finished for exposure.
Its clean lines, recessed drawer pulls, and balanced proportions reflect the timeless elegance of mid-century cabinetry, while its restored condition ensures it remains as practical as it is beautiful.
Condition:
Restored to enhance the natural depth of the teak wood, the unit is presented in good vintage condition and retains its original working keys for all lockable compartments. Very slight traces of wear here & there, in line with age and use, but overall very good condition.
