A quintessential Mid-Century modular, Kiaat & steel wall unit. The system, self-support and is dis-mountable and can be composed to your own taste (modular). The wood has been restored and sealed and the wall unit is in great vintage condition. The unit consists of:

Four steel upright supports, 4 shelves and 5 wooden cabinets (3 same-sized, one open storage and one with glass sliding doors). All the doors of the unit are in a drop front style.

Overall good condition considering it's age with only a few marks consistent with it's age and vintage condition, all the edges re-veneered and the wood refurbished with the steel supports re-painted.

As with mostly all Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The quality, old veneer was long-lasting and for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the workmanship, condition and thickness of the veneer itself.
