Tretchikoff’s “Chinese Girl” Artwork is often popularly known as The Green Lady. The original painting done in 1952 by Vladimir Tretchikoff. Known to be the most reproduced print.
“Vladimir Tretchikoff was born in Russia and began his artistic career in advertising and graphic magazine work after moving to China. A self-taught painter, he eventually committed himself to that medium toward the end of WWII. He began exhibiting in 1946, a few years after moving to South Africa. Most of Vladimir Tretchikoff's paintings are detailed portraits of women or still-life images. Many of Vladimir Tretchikoff's painting includes bold lines and vivid pops of color”.
The print is in great condition. The frame has very minor age related wear.
