A Mid-Century, Teak sideboard with ample space, recessed pull handles, and beautiful woodgrain. Although the maker's mark is not intact it definitely has been made by 'Duros' written all over it. There are loads of storage behind 2 wide doors and 3 drawers(looks like 4). The clean lines will fit in with most interiors and styles. The wood has been stripped, restored, and sealed and the piece is in great vintage condition.
As with mostly all Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood & a high-quality wood veneer. Quality old veneer was long-lasting and for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the workmanship, condition and thickness of the veneer itself.
