A fantastic imported cabinet. Multipurpose, which offers great storage. Two-door top cabinet and three deeper drawers with all the original brass handles still intact. All this sitting on a beautiful leg base. Use it either as a drinks cabinet or a dresser-style chest in the bedroom, perfect for the placement of cosmetics, hairdryer, etc in the top storage with two cabinets.
Since this is not a locally manufactured piece, it is difficult to determine the wood, however, it seems to be a combination of walnut & satinwood. The wood has been fully restored and refinished and is in excellent restored condition. The base area inside the top cabinet is a board ply so it would be weight restrictive.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness the quality of the old veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
