A beautifully restored Mid-Century round dining table, comfortably seating six. Although unmarked, the design echoes the refined aesthetic of DS Vorster, featuring clean lines, balanced proportions, and a timeless appeal.
The top has been professionally re-veneered in richly toned Etimoe wood veneer, renowned for its deep reddish-brown grain and subtle shimmer. The surface has been refinished and sealed in our workshop for durability and lustre. The elegant four-prong pedestal base, likely mahogany, but solid wood with a recoated black steel support for durability.
The round design provides excellent stability and legroom. A larger round, and depending on chair size, it very comfortably seats 6 with chairs "pushed in", but could accommodate 8 guests when dining.
Condition:
Fully restored and in superb vintage condition. Minor signs of age remain, consistent with its era, adding authenticity without detracting from its refined appearance. Ready to elevate both contemporary and classic interiors with understated sophistication.
