Beautiful birch bentwood framed rocking chair. The seat is a belt of webbing and the focus of the chair is it's exposed webbing.
'Some designers have removed the cushion that sits on top of the webbing exposing the braided grid as the feature of the furniture. Whether it’s made from synthetic fibers such as nylon, polypropylene or polyester'
The frame was fully refurbished and the black & white webbing is in good original vintage condition (not new, vintage, but overall good condition). The chair is unmarked, but reminiscent of a Danish-designed chair. The chair has intended movement left to right together with it being a rocker, but this is the way it was build and does not impact the structural stability. Interesting and beautiful at the same time.
