A stunning Mid-Century 'Uncle Tom' rocking chair by Frystark Furniture in solid Imbuia, based on the Danish designed chair by Frank Reenskaug- Spindle Back Rocking Chair, Model 182 (Denmark, 1958).

Frystark was a local furniture maker in the Western Cape and produced high-quality furniture strongly influenced by Scandinavian period design.

A half-moon-shaped cushion on the spindle backrest and a seat cushion ensure maximum comfort without losing the beautiful shape of the chair. A perfect addition to any space and style and a collector's item.

The wooden frame has been restored and sealed and re-upholstery done on the backrest and seat cushions in a beautiful "stain-resistant" green fabric from Hertex.
