A beautiful Danish set of Mid-Century nesting tables, by Poul Hundevad during the '60s for Novy Domov. The three drop-side side tables slot in underneath the bigger side table for neat and easy storage. A great design that makes these a sought-after set. 

The wood has been fully restored and re-sealed and they are in great condition. Only one side table shows more wear than the other two.

Round side table:  38cm W X 38cm D X 56,5cm H

Square side table:  62cm W X 42m D X 48,2cm H 

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The quality, old veneer was long-lasting and for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the workmanship, condition and thickness of the veneer itself.
