A versatile multipurpose Mid-Century modular, Sapele & steel wall unit! The system is self-supported and dis-mountable and can be composed to your own modular taste.
The two-drawer unit is fantastic to use as a work-from-home office/desk set-up if needed. Alternatively great for cutlery, media equipment etc.
The unit consists of:
Three steel upright supports, 6 shelves, 1 wooden cabinet with sliding glass doors, and a cabinet with two drawers. The wooden cabinet has a glass shelf while the other has 2 drawers. All the doors have well-functioning locks. The steel 'connectors' provide great support for all the shelves and cabinets and can be placed according to one's preferred taste.
The wooden aspects of the modular unit have been fully restored, refurbished, and re-sealed. One back foot support was missing a plastic round, however, we have replaced it with similar to offer the same support.

Shipment outside Gauteng is not calculated at check-out. When purchasing an item and you are based in either Cape Town, Durban, or outside Gauteng, select 'LOCAL PICK-UP' at check-out (DO NOT SELECT A SHIPMENT OPTION). Delivery to these areas is quoted based on the dimensions of the item/s bought.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness the quality of the old veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
