A true standout piece, this beautifully restored sideboard embodies the timeless elegance of the 960s Scandinavian design-style. Featuring signature curved wood drawer and door pulls - now stained black for a modern twist - it seamlessly blends mid-century craftsmanship with contemporary style.
Generously sized, the sideboard offers ample storage with three spacious drawers, a central two-door cabinet, and a drop-down cabinet on the right (with split-level storage). It is perfect for both everyday storage and use as a stylish drinks cabinet or television unit.
Meticulously restored, the teak wood has been stripped, sanded, and resealed to enhance its rich, warm tones. Dusty teal, sunshine yellow, and aged white drawer fronts—reminiscent of Arne Vodder’s iconic designs for Sibast—add a bold yet sophisticated contrast. The black-stained sides further elevate its modern appeal.
A statement piece that balances clean lines, elegance, and functionality - crafted to be cherished for generations to come.
Fully restored, very minor signs of age and use visible here & there. The felt lining in the top cutlery drawer is worn.

Note/Disclaimer:
Our images form part of the item's description. Although all efforts have been made to refurbish our furniture to best represent its original state, it must be noted that most of the items we source date from the 1950s to the late 1970s. For this reason, although restored, signs of their vintage condition and age might still be visible. We will typically point out any visible/notable concerns. Take note of all photos or view the item in-store prior to purchasing.
As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness the quality of the old veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
