A beautiful 70's 'Kroken' Chair in full original leather. The Kroken chair was initially designed by Ake Fribytter and produced by Nelo Mobel during the 70's. The chair combines extraordinary design with top-class materials. Ultimate seating comfort is provided with a cantilever bentwood frame, an elastic profile for the seat and headrest. The earthy tone of the leather was very typical of the 70's eclectic boho period.
The chair is in great overall condition, but the chair is in its original vintage condition with some worn leather and a few marks here and there on the frame, treasured by some. We have cleaned and treated the leather and polished the frame.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The quality, old veneer was long-lasting and for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the workmanship, condition and thickness of the veneer itself.
