A great Mid-Century sideboard made by Kenbow Furniture, which was a South African manufacturer. A fantastic combination of vintage charm and mid-century appeal.
The restored wood showcases its original grain patterns and brings out the warmth and richness of its natural mahogany color. The sideboard boasts a beautiful leg design, adding to its aesthetic appeal.
It features three drawers, with the top drawer specifically designed for cutlery storage. The two middle doors open to reveal a shelf inside, and there is an additional side door with a shelf. Ample storage space is provided.
It has been restored and is in overall great restored condition besides a repair mark here and there. The sideboard dates back to the 60's and had some repairs needed which we did as best possible without compromising the tone and wood. Handles sprayed black.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness the quality of the old veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
