A great headboard with attached pedestals, in all probability designed by John Tabraham for Kallenbach during the 1970s. Higher headrest than most mid-century headboards with lovely detail on the wood.
Perfect fit for a double bed-size base/mattress, with space to spare, so depending on your Queen size mattress size it could fit at a squeeze. Kindly refer to measurements and ensure to measure your set.
Each pedestal has a drawer that provides additional storage space. Both pedestals are attached to the headboard.
Restored and some age related damages repaired. In overall good restored condition with some minor repair marks visible here and there.

Take note of all photos or view the item in-store before purchasing.
As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness the quality of the old veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
