A magnificent, Mid-Century, 7 piece dining set consisting of 6 chairs and a round table in Imbuia. These sets were beautifully crafted and the solid Imbuia chairs are reminiscent of the Finn Juhl style ''Bwana'' chair. We've had them before, but they are few and far between. The origin is still unknown, but we do believe they could have been made in the old Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe.
The unusual shape of the chairs are similar to Danish "Bwana'' chair as well as the Brazilian Mid-Century style and hard to find.
A stunning dark wood set that will be the feature piece in any setting in a combination of solid & veneered Imbuia. This set has stood the test of time and will last you another lifetime if looked after with minor upkeep. The set has been fully refurbished, sealed and in excellent vintage condition. One of the chairs had damage to the wood just below at the "knob", but fully repaired (pics attached).
