A stunning Mid-Century headboard with pedestals. The pedestals are attached on either side to provide great storage. The wood has been refurbished and new upholstery done in a light grey, Hertex fabrics to suit most styles and interiors.  As with all period headboards please note that modern base sets might be higher, but this headboard is higher in comparison to previous . Please measure your base width and height prior to purchasing.

As with mostly all mid-century pieces it is a good combination of solid wood & a high quality wood veneer. Quality old veneer was long-lasting and for this reason it can be retouched or sanded and refinished. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on workmanship, condition and thickness of the veneer itself.
