Iconic G-Plan dining room set. A Mid-Century British manufactured set, from G-Plan’s "Fresco" range. Round dining table that extends to oval and 4 chairs designed by V.B. Wilkins for G-Plan. Both the table and chairs feature a timeless design and beautiful teak wood grain. 

The table comes with a “butterflied” extension piece that allows the table to extend. The 4 matching chairs have a  sophisticated design, teak backrests and round seats.

This wood of this set has been restored a few years back and still in great condition. The chairs are in their original black vinyl, in fair condition showing marks of age and use. The piping on one backrest is absent and small vinyl loss on one seat. Another seat has a slightly larger age related tear. Please refer to the photos or view in-store for more detail.

Shipment outside Gauteng is not calculated at check-out. When purchasing an item and you are based in either Cape Town, Durban, or outside Gauteng, select 'LOCAL PICK-UP' at check-out (DO NOT SELECT A SHIPMENT OPTION). Delivery to these areas is quoted based on the dimensions of the item/s bought.

We can unfortunately not reserve any items until such a time that transport or shipping has been finalized. The item should be purchased and checked out. As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness the quality of the old veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
