A gorgeous Mid-Century dressing table manufactured locally by Frystark Furniture during the late 60's. Frystark Furntirue were based in Port Elizabeth and made high quality furniture with wood and veneer sourced in Europe. There is loads of space in four drawers and the dresser has three mirrors. The centre mirror tilts and the side mirrors swivel.
A simple, yet very elegant piece.
The wood has been fully restored and sealed and the piece is in good vintage condition with minor wear and tear on the bottom drawers.

As with mostly all Mid-Century pieces it is a good combination of solid wood & a high quality wood veneer. Quality old veneer was long-lasting and for this reason it can be retouched or sanded and refinished. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on workmanship, condition and thickness of the veneer itself.
