A Mid-Century dresser with a lovely shaped mirror and stool. The solid wood supports holding the mirror in place are particularly noticeable along with the curved edges of the dresser and unique drawer pulls. Solid wood legs support this unique piece featuring a beautiful woodgrain. The top of the dresser has a wood veneered top.
This dresser had previous damage that we had to repair to the best of our ability. The entire dresser looks new, but the top shows traces of the board damage underneath the wood veneer. It is mainly noticeable only from one angle and less so from another, but noteworthy and visible in the photos attached. With upkeep, this would not damage any further and the piece is structurally very sound.
We have opted to stain the sides and center drawers black to compliment the black in the upholstery & to make this piece more contemporary.
We are providing sectional glass to protect the center of the top surface area. The mirror is in overall good used condition, with age-related imperfections.

Note/Disclaimer:
Our images form part of the item/s description. Although all effort is made to refurbish our furniture to represent its original state best, it must be noted that most of the items we source date from the 1950s to the late 1970s. For this reason and although restored, signs of their vintage condition & age might still be visible. We will typically point out any visible/notable concerns. Take note of all photos or view the item in-store prior to purchasing.
As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness the quality of the old veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
