A Mid-Century dining set featuring a dining table and 6 dining chairs. The splayed legs of the dining table allow for the 6 dining chairs to sit comfortably.
The wood has been fully restored. Stripped, sanded & re-sealed. New upholstery & fabric on the seats. See close-ups for the fabric and mixed textured colors. Specs of multiple colors. Additional dowels were added to the chairs for durability. One chair had more intense repair work needed and slight repair marks visible. The table top is supported from the underside to prevent further dipping.
The wood has been refurbished and the seats are newly upholstered. It is important to note these date back to the 60's so rocking on these chairs will cause them to brake.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness the quality of the old veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
