 A stunning Mid-Century console table, in all probability a design by DS Vorster for Kallenbach, featuring a distinctive leg structure characteristic of the designer's work. The clean and simplistic lines make it an ideal piece for various home interiors, perfectly sized for a hallway or entrance hall, or even a narrow writing desk. It offers good storage space with three drawers, each adorned with black handles that beautifully complement the rich wood grain.

The wood has been fully restored and sealed and it is in overall fantastic restored condition.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness. The quality of the veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
