A Kiaat Mid-Century Frystark chest of drawers with 4 drawers. A lower chest that provides enough space and is good looking, but does not take up a lot of space. Frystark was a local manufacturer in the 50's and 60's of high quality furniture.

The wood has been restored and sealed and the piece is in great vintage condition.

As with mostly all mid-century pieces it is a good combination of solid wood & a high quality wood veneer. Quality old veneer was long-lasting and for this reason it can be retouched or sanded and refinished. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on workmanship, condition and thickness of the veneer itself.
