Great cabinet / writing bureau. A well-made & preserved vintage piece in solid wood with led-glass door panels. To update this classic piece, we have opted to strip this cabinet of it old varnish and stain, back to the bare wood to be able to sand the cabinet smooth. We used a light-colored sealant from Jax Oleum providing a light durable finish elevating this cabinet to a class of its own. An amazing piece, perfect for storage as well as a work from home office when needed or just a storage or drinks cabinet.
The old, very dated handles were replaced with new contemporary handles. New escutcheons and door clips added. No keys. Only one of the tiny glass windows has a thin crack. Not very noticeable overall.
