
A stunning Mid-Century Bar counter with five chairs designed & manufactured by Alpha Furniture during the '60s. Larger in size than the typical ones as this one has two cabinet doors on either side of the inside of the bar.
The bar counter has two 'shelved' cabinet spaces, behind lockable doors and three open shelves that provide sufficient storage space for drinks, various glasses, and quirky display items. There is a curved rod that is a footrest, at the bottom of the bar counter. The bar chairs have comfortable seats in teal blue vinyl. Great to place in a large lounge space as well as under a covered patio or veranda space that will not generate moisture. The perfect complementary item for most homes for hours of lingering and entertainment.
This item has been extensively restored and refurbished and sealed with a brand new Sapele Mahogany wood veneered top. The seats have been cleaned vinyl is still in good condition. and are still covered in their original blue vinyl fabric.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the veneer's artistry, condition, and thickness the quality of the old veneer was long-lasting; for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished.
