A unique, modernist Mid-Century, occasional low chair with a footstool. The deep seat of the chair provides ultimate comfort along with a footstool that can also be used as an ottoman. Due to the shape of the chair, it is stylish & appealing from all angles. Perfect addition to an office, bedroom, or lounge space.
Complicated re-upholstery has been done which has the base & top attached and we had to replicate the original design in its entirety. Light corduroy-style fabric from Hertex fabrics.
The only thing we could not replace were two rubber "ends' on the steel base of the footstool. This chair was not locally designed or manufactured, so we were unable to replace them to size (original to the manufacturers standard). It does not detract from the sturdiness or any element of this chair & stool at all.
