A wonderfully unusual lotus coffee table crafted from richly toned Imbuia wood, combining a playful modular design with more traditional furniture detailing. The table is made up of six individual petal-shaped tables which fit neatly together to form a generous circular coffee table, creating an eye-catching flower or lotus formation when assembled.
Each section stands independently on elegant cabriole legs.
The individual sections can be separated and positioned around a room as side or occasional tables, then brought together again when a larger central coffee table is needed. A versatile and rather quirky vintage piece, equally appealing for its sculptural form and practical flexibility.
Condition:
The Imbuia has been refurbished and resealed, retaining the natural variation and character of the timber. Minor signs of age and previous use remain visible in places, consistent with its vintage origin.
