A Mid-Century console table/server made by DS Vorster & Co during the 60's. An elegant and timeless piece with storage in 4 drawers of which 2 drawers are smaller. The clean lines will fit in with most styles and interiors and this can be used in countless ways.
It's great in the dining room, behind a couch, TV unit or even a desk or dresser depending on your space.
The wood has been restored, refurbished and sealed and the item is in good restored condition. Only a few marks are visible on the top surface as per photos indicating age-related wear, but it has been restored and refinished as best we could given the marks were existent underneath the stained condition we received it in. Priced lower than it would usually be.
Overall an amazing piece with loads of options.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The quality, old veneer was long-lasting and for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the workmanship, condition and thickness of the veneer itself.
