A stunning Mid-Century coffee table with a unique wooden leg base and a glass top fixed to the base with brass dome heads on top of the glass that adds the finishing touch. This is a great addition to any room and such a statement piece.
The cross-shaped legs are very typical of the period's high-end design but are hard to find. The table is in excellent vintage condition and the wood has been restored and sealed.

As with most Mid-Century pieces, it is a good combination of solid wood and a high-quality wood veneer. The quality, old veneer was long-lasting and for this reason, it can be retouched or sanded and refinished. The history of veneer on furniture is a long and honorable tradition, and it depends on the workmanship, condition, and thickness of the veneer itself.
