Handblown Swedish art glass bowl by Kjell Engman for Kosta Boda, multicolored Swedish crystal, engraved signature to the base. CanCan’ Art Glass Bowl, Sweden, 1990. Standing 12 cm high with a 22 cm diameter, it features Engman’s hallmark play of colour - turquoise and cobalt with a sunburst of yellow - set in a clear, flared rim and footed base for sculptural presence, excellent display piece, and great as a centre bowl.
Background: Kosta Boda (est. 1742) is Sweden’s oldest glassworks, renowned for bold colour and studio craftsmanship. Kjell Engman (b. 1946), one of the company’s star designers, is celebrated for narrative, vibrant pieces that blend art and utility.

Very good vintage condition, with light rim polishing done.
